Joseph Campbell said, “Mythology is composed by poets out of their insights and realizations. Mythologies are not invented; they are found. You can no more tell us what your dream is going to be tonight than we can invent a myth. Myths come from the mystical region of essential experience.”*
I dont write poetry.
I write, well….. I dont know what you would call what I write!! Hopefully, helpful.
I am nominating you for this award, the Most Influential Blogger below, because what you do makes me think. Hopefully that thinking can lead into action of helping another suffering alcoholic, really, just another suffering human being, which is my charge in life. In lieu of the answering and asking the usual questions about what your favorite “reality” show is, could you please spend your time doing what you do best. Keeping the myths alive. We so desperately need them to be at this time in this world.
Lots of love….Jim
I want to thank Carrie for nominating me. Here is her blog. She does a hero’s works. http://littleblogoflettinggo. com

Amazing 😀 … I said this before :] If it is okay, I would like to share it with you too – I find that everyone has a poet inside. They don’t have to be perfect, they do not need a degree, it could be simple or speak in volumes – but it is a poem nevertheless, when it speaks from the bottom of you heart, somewhere next to the soul or the soul itself. At least, that is what I think. Hope this helps! Thank you very much for sharing this post 😀
Congratulations and blessings to you, one day at a time…
There are no coincidences, so they say. Congratulations on your award. Will be checking this site. Have a good day, Jim.

Yes–that is now our calling…to be the poets for this world…for the children who are suffering…for Mother Earth who is suffering…for those in power who do not hear…Your words are important……
